Last updated: 26 June 2026
1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CoffeeCraft Hub Inc. ("CoffeeCraft Hub," "we," "us" or "our"), a corporation registered in British Columbia, Canada (Business Number BN 846789012BC0001), with its registered office at 836 Yates Street, Suite 502, Victoria, BC V8W 1L8.
By accessing coffeecrafthub.one, submitting a contact form, registering for community membership or participating in any CoffeeCraft Hub program, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
2. Description of services
CoffeeCraft Hub operates a home barista community platform providing recipe hosting, brew log archives, community rating infrastructure, seasonal challenges, moderator-supported discussion lanes and educational programs. We are not a restaurant, bakery, food delivery service or generic social network. We do not sell coffee beverages, roasted beans, food products or brewing equipment through this platform.
Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. Paid programs are subject to additional registration terms communicated at enrollment.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to register for community membership or submit content. By using CoffeeCraft Hub, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are accessing the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
4. Account registration and security
Community membership may require registration with accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Hub Charter.
5. Community conduct and Hub Charter
All members agree to the CoffeeCraft Hub Hub Charter, which requires constructive participation focused on home brewing technique. You agree not to:
- Post sponsored content, affiliate links or undisclosed commercial promotion
- Harass, threaten or personally attack other members or moderators
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent brew logs, ratings or challenge entries
- Inflate rating scores through duplicate accounts or coordinated manipulation
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights of third parties
- Distribute malware, spam or automated submissions including honeypot-triggering bots
- Use the platform for purposes unrelated to home barista education and community
- Impersonate other members, moderators or CoffeeCraft Hub staff
- Scrape, crawl or systematically extract platform data without written permission
Moderators may edit, remove or annotate content that violates these rules. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
6. User content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of brew logs, recipe cards, images, videos and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant CoffeeCraft Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute your content within the platform for community purposes. This licence ends when you delete content or close your account, except for content referenced in aggregated statistics or archived moderation records.
You represent that you own or have necessary rights to all User Content you submit. CoffeeCraft Hub respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid takedown requests sent to [email protected].
Platform design, branding, rating infrastructure, challenge rubrics and original educational resources are owned by CoffeeCraft Hub Inc. and protected by Canadian copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify or redistribute platform materials without written consent.
7. Ratings and challenges
Community ratings reflect individual member opinions and are not professional reviews or endorsements. CoffeeCraft Hub does not guarantee accuracy of ratings or challenge scores. Challenge winners are selected by moderator review against published rubrics. Decisions are final unless a procedural error is demonstrated within seven days of announcement.
Participation in Challenge 01 and subsequent 2026 Season programs requires compliance with submission deadlines, documentation requirements and the community conduct rules above.
8. Paid programs
Certain programs, including the Espresso Dial-In Cohort, require payment at registration. Fees, refund policies and cancellation terms are communicated at enrollment. Unless otherwise stated, program fees are non-refundable after the cohort start date. CoffeeCraft Hub reserves the right to cancel programs with insufficient enrollment, providing full refunds.
9. Disclaimers
CoffeeCraft Hub provides educational and community content for home baristas. Content does not constitute professional food safety, health or equipment safety advice. Brewing coffee involves hot water, pressurized equipment and electrical appliances — follow manufacturer guidelines and exercise appropriate caution.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE OPERATION.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, COFFEECRAFT HUB INC., ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, MODERATORS AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF COFFEECRAFT HUB SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COFFEECRAFT HUB IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoffeeCraft Hub Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, moderators and agents from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
12. Privacy
Your use of CoffeeCraft Hub is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Contact form submissions require explicit PIPEDA consent. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details on data collection, use and your individual rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. You may close your account by contacting [email protected]. Provisions that by nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification — remain in effect.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Victoria, British Columbia for resolution of disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CoffeeCraft Hub.
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt informal resolution within thirty days.
15. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or community policies. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of CoffeeCraft Hub after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
